This is the appropriate context in which to welcome your child into God's family when that family gathers.   At Christ Church we set aside specific dates for the celebration so as to allow time for preparation and also to coincide with special worship celebrations when it is especially appropriate to celebrate Holy Baptism. For example - Feast of the Baptism of Jesus.   If you would like to explore further the possibility of having your child baptised at Christ Church you will need to:    Attend a baptism inquiry gathering - where all the information you need to know about Holy Baptism will be given to you together with available baptism dates and also preparation times. These inquiry gatherings usually occur on Sunday after our 10am worship but can be arranged at other times if this is not possible.   Having attended an inquiry gathering and decided to proceed with Holy Baptism you will need to complete an application form and also be prepared to attend the preparation sessions and rehearsal. These preparation sessions take place on the three Sundays prior to the baptism and the rehearsal is conducted on a mutually agreed time on the Saturday before the baptism.   If you would like to attend our next Baptism Inquiry Gathering please contact the Parish Office on 9384 9244.   Our Sunday worship is at 8.00 am and 10.00 am [except in January & July when we have one service only at 9.00 am].   Our 10.00 am worship on the first Sunday in the month is intergenerational with a special focus on involving the children.   On the other Sundays there are special activities for the children.
