The WA Government has announced the introduction of mandatory contact registers at relevant businesses and venues from 5 December 2020.  Places of worship and community halls are included. This means that we will need to register attendance at all services and events at Christ Church from this Saturday.

To assist us, the State Government has released a free, safe and secure app called SafeWA. Endorsed by the Department of Health, the app provides a unique QR code for staff, visitors and parishioners to scan to register their attendance at a service or event.

SafeWA can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play on your smartphone. The use of SafeWA is not mandatory but is encouraged.

The QR code will be displayed at the entrances to the church, Mary Lockett Hall, and the Rectory (for the Rectory Café this Saturday). Simply open the app on your phone and point the camera at the QR code. You will then be asked if you have anyone with you and given the opportunity to add their name(s) and contact number(s). Then you are safely checked in.

If you do not have a smartphone, or you do not wish to use the app, Manual Contact Registers are also provided at each entrance. Please fill in the date, arrival time, your name and contact number on the sheet.
